Food is ALWAYS absolutely delicious, fresh, and different. Try the french onion soup, fish, filet, roasted cauliflower, lobster tacos with homemade slaw( to die for), pork chop. Everything I have eaten so far has been AMAZING!!! Servers aren't the greatest. I shouldn't have to ask for a refill on a drink, I would like them to ask how everything is after a couple bites of food, and to check again towards end of meal. I am a server and those two things are top priority at my job. These have all been times where the servers were NOT busy. Will return for both lunch and dinner!!
Great setting though hard to see until y ou get up there. Food was OK but flavors not quite jelled.
The service was good, but the food was below average. We had the glazed salmon and the truffle fillet. The steak was supposed to be medium rare, but it was well done. It would have been dry if not for the truffle oil. The salmon was overcooked and dry. Nice ambience. Place looks classy and romantic, but disappointing food.
We had a fantastic meal and a friendly, attentive server. It's seriously worth going just for the complimentary garlic-butter-soaked dinner rolls. They're giant, perfectly baked, and delicious. The berry sangria was good, the duck tacos and rice were great, the filet was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Plus, it's in the upstairs of a cool old building in a historic downtown area. (There is an elevator.)
Great building but overpriced and mediocre food. Bland and not worth the trip out. The employees hanging all over the service station not doing anything was annoying especially since they are breaking health code having open personal drinks all over the bar service area. The fact that I also saw no less than 3 employees fill their drinks directly from the bar soda gun that they stuck into the glass they'd been drinking from already is a cause for concern. Seeing the bartenders also drinking personal drinks behind the bar area is gross. It's how you spread diseases easily and also why it's against health code. The food is very disappointing and the fact that after expressing concern about it yielded no response from a manager or chef and forced the waitress to deal with absorbing the complaints is also unacceptable. Especially for the amount of money they were charging for the meal. Absolutely disappointing.
