Enjoyed it very much. Food was very good. Prime Rib cooked to perfection.
I had the special of the day which was meatloaf. omg it was so good. u could not eat it all (also had Cole slaw, mash potatoes and a roll). My husband had the fried chicken and he loved it. my husband is an expert on fried chicken and he gave a 2 thumbs up. The waitresses were very friendly. We also had fun playing the slots while we waited on our food. I would recommend this place to everyone to give it a try. Thank you Art and Judy for taking us there.
This seems to us to be the best kept secret in Decatur. I've passed by The Wagon and never even knew it existed. There are no huge signs or flashing lights to indicate what's inside. A rather unassuming building contains an extremely clean friendly dining experience, without a menu covering 9 pages with multiple inserts to lure you toward trying 15 types of deserts...No! A simple list of delicious menu items prepared professionally from thoughtful recipes. A pleasurable dining experience sans the usual bombardment from restaurant chain branding. Our new Favorite Place to go in Decatur, THE WAGON!
Casual, friendly, clean restaurant. Excellent service, rockin' kitchen staff and an owner who personally checks on your satisfaction! Loved the steamed vegetables and the fried chicken was better than made at home. Will definitely be back to try other menu items.
Our go to place for great fried chicken. Fantastic price and you get 4 pieces with two sides. Not a huge place but have never had to wait. Always a good crowd. Friendly staff
