We received a hot tub through Make a Wish for my daughter who has multiple disabilities. Decatur Pool and Spa was the closest dealer for Marquis Spa. When they brought the hot tub the lid had already been installed and had a strap over it to keep it on the trailer. The lid was tweaked and has never fit correctly. I made several calls and left messages about the lid. I was repeatedly told that the owner was not in and would call me back. I finally started calling every day and he returned my call. It took over two weeks. He had me send photos. Again I had to call several times to get a response and the owner said that they couldn't come until fall to fix it. They were too busy. I called again in December to see if they were ever going to come out the lady on the phone said they her husband said they had already been there and fixed it. I sid that was not true. I haven't heard anything since. Because of the ill fitting lid we had to winterize the tub for the winter. Otherwise we would lose too much heat. and get ice build up. Now we have to pay another spa company $95.00 an hour to fix the lid. The installers also refused to stay and show me how to do the spa maintenance as the owner kept calling and bugging them to leave. I was on my own. Shame on you Decatur Pool and Spa.
I recently had a pool installed and would recommend the staff at Decatur Pool and spa to anyone. They took the time to answer all of my questions to properly find the best pool for my budget. We are now getting ready to enjoy our second season with our wonderful new pool. For any of your pool, spa or pool supplies needs definatly see the folks at Decatur Pool & Spa....you wont be disappointed.
